Keeya was born of human parentage 71 years ago, the only sylph born in her family tree, cursed with elven immortality, out-worldly beauty and a paralyzingly fear to communicate. Raised by her own siblings, Keeya has watched everyone around her age while she stayed frozen in time, her parents, he younger sisters and finally watched her husband grow old without her. The Hermean people have always shown Keeya both love and patience, but most importantly, they have respected her Sylph heritage, both positive and negative. The Council of Enlightenment gave special consideration and tested Keeya when she was 50, this allowed her to find herself a place in Promise and learn of what she could contribute to the Glorious Endeavor.
Keeya found power and strength in objects. She was never able to study like a normal student, but would always say that objects, if listened to carefully enough, have a voice of their own. This intrigued the Council greatly and as she ages her abilities only have become more powerful. Keeya is dangerously curious and is known to wander the halls of the magic school searching for objects of power that she feels a connection for, sometimes to the detriment of people around her.
Keeya has few friends, but is known well throughout Promise. Of all of the people, Keeya has chosen a tiefling troublemaker by the name of Kyrk to befriend. Even after his involvement in the destruction of the conjuration center of magic, Keeya stood beside him and quietly whispered of his goodness to the Council. And finally, in Kyrk’s departure to the Worldwound pending a final investigation of the accident, Keeya has chosen to follow her friend to the depths of evil, in hopes to find peace and love.
